Digital CCTV cameras utilize a DSP chip to digitize the analog video stream produced by the CCD chip. DSP chip helps the improvement of picture quality and can add more functions. Samsung Techwin has been three analogue DSP chips which are developed in house.
WVdelivers key functions to enhance the image quality of CCTV cameras.
A1 added more functions that can be used to help more convenience monitoring.
SVV is the DSP features ultra high resolution of maximum 650TV Lines and other valuable functions. Please click the DSP chip button to learn functions it offers.

Samsung Techwin's 5th generation DSP is the engine that brings out the performance of this camera. This unique DSP provides features such as advanced 2D/3D noise filtering and digital image stabilization which work together to reduce storage requirements by as much as 70% over conventional cameras.
In addition, the W-V DSP also provides advanced features such as Day & Night and frame integration to enhance low light performance along with features such as motion detection, privacy masking, Highlight Compensation, and image flip.
These features are all programmable via onscreen menus that can be remotely set up from the remote control center.

The W-V camera delivers high quality 600TV lines images utilizing a unique image processing technology found only in Samsung Techwin's 5th generation DSP.

Featuring SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range), the SCB-2000 automatically increases dark photoelectric signals while retaining bright signals; dark spots in images become more visible for accurate monitoring.

DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) removes image jitter that is caused by vibrations in the building. This stabilization greatly reduces the amount of hard disk space required to store images on a DVR.

The W-V utilizes Day & Night control to enhance performance in low lighting conditions. The W-V cameras can deliver outstanding images around the clock in challenging lighting conditions

Managing noise is the key to achieving great results in low light. The advanced 2D/3D noise filtering system in the W-V allows it to provide good color in much lower lighting levels. Reducing noise in the picture also reduces the amount of storage space required to record the video on a DVR.

Advanced features can be easily optimized with the use of the on-screen display menus that are available in six different languages.
These menus can be accessed locally at the camera via pushbuttons or remotely from an optional low cost hand-held controller, or from the monitoring location center via RS-485.
